- We've all talked about The Ethereum Merge until we're blue in the face but it is finally upon us and successfully happened last night! The only thing we’re focusing on is the long term strength that The Merge brings to the Ethereum platform. It makes Ethereum deflationary as opposed to inflationary moving from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake.
- The market moves in waves. When you start hearing people say things like, "Bitcoin is dead.", that’s when you start to understand that we’re probably near or have already experienced a market bottom and there are brighter days ahead. Market bottoms are when you want to make generational, life-changing investments, not all time highs.
- DeFi continues to be innovative in the crypto world. Many projects that were born in the hype of the 2021 bull market and all time highs have either receded or failed. Now that we’re in the 80-90% correction phase of the market, it’s easier to see who the winners and losers are…and we’ve got our eye on a lot of winners.
- TIP OF THE WEEK: Don’t fight the Fed! This week, the CPI report came in and was lower than the previous month but not as low as analysts expected. The market responded negatively and is still reacting negatively. Fed Chairman Powell is expected to raise rates on September 21st again by .75 bps. We are looking to see if he will do a historic 1 bps as opposed to .75 which would be extreme but not crazy given the hawkish talk recently.

Solana is a decentralized blockchain known for its efficiency and speed, reportedly being able to handle approximately 65,000 transactions per second. It's also cheap.
The blockchain has smart contract capability, which means developers can use it to build decentralized apps (dApps). It has a fast growing ecosystem in crypto, with thousands of projects spanning DeFi, NFTs, Web3 and more.
Most blockchains use either a proof-of-work or proof-of-stake consensus mechanism, with proof of stake being the more efficient option. Solana uses a a unique algorithm to validate transactions that is a hybrid protocol combining proof of stake with proof of history for even faster processing.
SOL tokens are Solana's native cryptocurrency and are used to pay its transaction fees. Since launching in 2017, Solana has grown to become one of the largest cryptocurrencies in the world.
